Our story
Casa Mono began with a simple belief: elegance should feel effortless. In Kottawa, getting dressed means understanding light, movement and heat. It means choosing a shirt that can carry a morning meeting, an unplanned journey and a slow evening with equal ease.
So our process begins long before a needle meets the cloth. We look for fabric with a generous hand and a breathable nature, then let its character guide the cut. We edit the details until nothing is excessive and nothing is overlooked.
The result is a small collection of shirts made to be worn often—quietly refined, distinctly local and better with time.
From cloth to collection
Every choice leaves a trace.

The cloth comes first
We begin with the hand of the fabric: how it feels against the skin, how it carries air, and how it settles after a long, warm day. Linen, cotton and considered blends are chosen for their quiet performance as much as their appearance.

A considered palette
Colour is kept close to the landscape around us—chalk, leaf, clay, midnight and sun-washed blue. Each shade is selected to live easily with the rest of a wardrobe, becoming more familiar with every wear.

Cut for real movement
A shirt should give shape without asking for attention. We refine the proportions, collar and drape until the silhouette feels composed at a desk, comfortable in traffic and natural at dinner.

Finished with patience
The last details are deliberately unhurried: a clean seam, a balanced cuff, a button placed with care. Every shirt is checked by hand before it leaves our Kottawa studio, ready to become part of someone’s everyday rhythm.
